Reentry Planning

This program is for individuals currently incarcerated in the WA state jail system. I meet you outside your cell or in a booth and we talk about your goals and dreams and start planning for their success while you are presently detained. Areas I have supported individuals complete while incarcerated include:

• Applying for any Tribal numbers, IDs or programs

• Start meeting with mental health or substance use professionals

• Research and connect with local support programs right for you

• Learn about ABD, HEN and Social Security and application process

• Connect with family and friends and build up outside support systems

• Study for high school and beyond certificates and diplomas

• Connecting to the local or your native tribe(s)

• Securing and applying for housing

• Financial planning

• Exiting pick-up arrangements; and much more

Before leaving the jail, we work together as much as you like to prepare for your success connecting to the resources you want to follow up on. Depending on the development of this program, we may be able to continue to meet once you are released to continue to work side-by-side on pursing your goals.
