Expect Abundance Counseling

This service is open to all WA state residents and has no requirements to obtain.

Do you feel like traditional talk therapy has not quite helped or is still evolving in how it can support people? I felt that therapy, especially therapy offered to individuals with severe mental health needs like myself at one point, was and still is lacking fundamental practices that truly help people work with traumatic events, experience a meaningful life, and showcase the beautiful, amazing people we all are. I am not a licensed counselor for traditional Western therapy; however, I have learned and continue to gain knowledge from our countless Native traditions from around the world on community, what it means to be human, and how spirituality plays a large part in living.  When we meet, I like to use a combination of talk therapy and the knowledge I’ve gained, to try and frame experiences in a new way so we can work on the issue or event. If you were raised in the US with the domineering social ideals that are pumped through the US, you’re more likely to feel disconnected from a community, feel alone during difficult times, and may even feel shame over who you are as an individual, that is, if you even recognize who you are as an individual. This service aims to break these messages that have harmed people and made weakened communities. This service wants you to remember how beautiful you are, the importance of your life, and all the amazing things you have done and are doing, and as a beautiful side-effect, you will explore, discover, and empower yourself to make choices that reflect the life you want.

Presently, I work with adults 18 years of age or older or minors that are accompanied by an adult. I do not accept insurances at this time but will update clients and my website if this changes. Meetings last 55 minutes and cost $100 per session. This charged service directly supports clients who do not have Medicaid and need access to support services
